Maybe there's something in it that screws up 11.04? If you wanted to sort out the problems manually the first thing to do would be to check who owns the usr/lib/libwx_baseu. It said it was outside the 21 day trial period though, despite never having installed it before, so it seems a bit flaky. I just tried it on 12.04 here and it installed fine. That's the same way I installed it on my 10.10 box though and it worked fine.
